To say I’m a bit behind on a blogging would be an understatement, but the past few months have been beyond busy. I’m making a promise to get caught up and start blogging much more regularly. I posted this album on my Facebook business page months ago but wanted to add it to the blog as well. The images from my first wedding will forever be so special to me and I’m so lucky that my first bride and groom were beyond wonderful and believed in me every step of the way.
Patrick and Rebecca were my very first official clients when they approached me about shooting their engagement photos. We had so much fun at their session and were able to get them beautiful images to remember this special time in their lives. I was honored when they asked me to document their wedding day. Over the next few months I took my photography education to new levels to prepare for their big day. Everything went just as planned for the calm and collected bride & groom. Rebecca and Patrick are such a sweet and fun couple so I wasn’t surprised when their wedding mirrored these qualities. Their wedding took place at the beautiful Retreat at Bradley’s Pond in Tallahassee. The venue was simply gorgeous with large live oaks surrounding and a beautiful wrap around porch. One of the most unique parts of their wedding was that Anglette’s Cajun Kitchen served the most amazing breakfast to their guests. Everyone loved this twist on the traditional wedding dinner meal and from what I heard it was one of the best breakfast meals most had ever had. There wasn’t a dry eye during the ceremony, heartfelt toasts were given and the guests danced into the night. The wedding was not only a perfect night for this deserving and beautiful couple but also a night I will always remember. The night I got hooked on wedding photography.
